How do I know my bra is the proper fit for me?
  1. The cup should completely contain the breast with the exception of push-up bras and demi- wire styles.
  2. The breast should not spill over the top or sides of the cup. This indicates that the cup may be too small.
  3. The cups fit smoothly. Gaps or puckering indicates that the cups are too large.
  4. There should be a smooth line at the top and sides of the cups. If there are any wrinkles at the top or sides then the cup size may be too big and you may want to try one cup size down.
  5. The bra should be snug but not too tight around the body.
  6. Bra support comes from the cups and the band only 20% of the support comes from the straps.
  7. The back of the bra should stay down and not ride up on the back. This indicates a large band size. Try one band size smaller.
  8. The center of the bra should lie flat against the breastbone. Otherwise, the cups may be too small. Try a larger cup size or a different style.
  9. All women have one breast that is bigger than the other so choose the cup size of the bigger breast and adjust the strap on the smaller side to accommodate.
  10. The straps should be adjusted to support comfortably without pressure or cutting.
  11. Underwire is better for B cups or above. For A and AA, the best shaping can come from non-underwire bras.
  12. For underwire bras, the underwire should rest on your rib cage, not your breast tissue.
  13. The bra feels comfortable.

Bra Fitting Instructions
It's best to measure when you are wearing your most comfortable bra - one that has no padding and is not a minimizer.

Step 1: Band Size

Measure under your arms, high on your back, across the top of your chest. If this measurement is an even number, this is your band size. If an odd number, add 1" to determine your band size.

Step 2: Cup Size

Measure loosely around the fullest part of your bust. Next, subtract your band measurement from your bust measurement; each inch represents a cup size. For example: if your band measurement is 34" and your bust measurement is 36", the difference between these measurements is two inches, and you'd wear a B-cup.
